THE CULLINAN

Crafted for the city

High above the density of Hong Kong, The Cullinan takes a quieter approach to urban living. The 3,000-square-foot residence is shaped by bespoke woodwork and a nuanced palette of engineered silver pear veneer, figured wood and painted finishes, bringing texture and depth to a highly refined interior.

Here, timber is treated less as decoration and more as atmosphere. The subtle grain of silver pear creates a composed backdrop, while the richer movement of figured wood introduces moments of visual intensity. Smooth painted surfaces provide contrast, allowing the natural and engineered veneers to stand out without overwhelming the rooms.

TREGAZZE’s Shenzhen team was responsible for the bespoke woodwork across the residence, working across cabinetry, integrated storage and custom architectural elements. In a high-rise home, where space and visual clarity are equally valuable, these elements are designed to perform quietly—absorbing function into carefully resolved surfaces and leaving the interior feeling open and composed.

The Cullinan reflects a distinctly metropolitan idea of luxury: not more, but better resolved. Rich materials are used with restraint, storage becomes part of the architecture, and craftsmanship reveals itself through proportion, finish and detail rather than ornament.
