The Taizhou Showroom moves away from the conventional idea of displaying products in isolation. Instead, its 300 m² are conceived as a sequence of complete living environments, allowing visitors to experience how cabinetry, furniture, materials and objects work together within an interior.
Developed by the Three Magpies Shanghai team from design through execution, bespoke woodwork provides the architectural framework for the space. Warm timber surfaces establish continuity between different settings, while furniture and softer elements introduce the familiarity and scale of a residential environment.
The experience is deliberately intuitive. Rather than asking visitors to imagine how individual elements might translate into a home, the showroom places them directly within that context.
Here, the product is not the starting point. The interior is.
