Designed by Huang Hejie, Qianwu Villa is a 1,000-square-metre private residence conceived around continuity, between spaces, materials and the rhythms of everyday life.
The interior unfolds through a fluid sequence of interconnected environments, where natural oak, painted finishes and engineered pear wood veneer establish a restrained and consistent material language. Bespoke woodwork plays an architectural role throughout the residence, integrating cabinetry, storage and interior elements into the overall composition rather than treating them as independent pieces.
Working alongside Huang Hejie, Yuan Shanmou and Zhuo Jiexiong, TREGAZZE delivered the custom woodwork, translating the design intent into tailored solutions across the home. Material transitions, proportions and detailing were coordinated to maintain visual continuity while responding to the different functional requirements of each space.
The result is a residence designed to evolve naturally with its occupants: precise in its execution, calm in its expression, and shaped around the experience of living rather than decoration alone.
